Xerox Makes a Move: Up 2.0%

Xerox  is one of today’s notable stocks on the rise, up 2.0% to $7.70. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is now trading 0.8% higher to 11,347 and the S&P is trading 0.8% higher to 1,171.

There is potential upside of 31.5% for shares of Xerox based on a current price of $7.70 and an average consensus analyst price target of $10.12. Xerox shares should first meet resistance at the 50-day moving average (MA) of $7.76 and find additional resistance at the 200-day MA of $9.29.

In the past 52 weeks, Xerox share prices have been bracketed by a low of $6.55 and a high of $12.08 and are now at $7.70, 18% above that low price. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone down 0.5% while the 50-day MA has remained constant.

To introduce new ways for BNY Mellon’s Asset Servicing clients to reach customers, the former has joined hands with Xerox Corporation.  Observing the fact that the fund companies look for simple, customized communications to retain and grow their business with investors, Xerox’s leading document technologies and Communication and Marketing Services will let BNY Mellon to better serve the 250 mutual fund, asset manager and other financial industry clients within its U.S. Funds Services business.

Those clients will now be capable of offering their investors greater choice and flexibility regarding to receive financial information and communicating with their investment funds and asset managers. Also that, through Xerox’s secure multi-channel communications approach, an investor will have the ability to choose to receive financial updates and account information through text message and access statements via mobile app or personal digital mailbox.

Xerox launches new A4 format printers and MFPs

Xerox has unveiled a cluster of new printers for small to medium sized businesses. Phaser 3010, a monochrome printer, goes well for small businesses. This is followed by the Phaser 3040. This model is 20 percent faster than previous models in the series, claims Xerox. Both the models have print speeds of 20 ppm i.e. pages per minute. The WorkCentre 3045 is a multi-function printer that provides 24 ppm of printing speeds. Xerox also credits it saying that the HI-QLED technology will bring less complex mechanisms. The color printers, Phaser 6000 and Phaser 6010 offers 10 to 12 ppm printing speeds. Xerox considers these printers to be the lightest and the most compact ones in the printer market. These printers are structured for small offices and homes. All these printers are designed to print on a number of medias from standard A4 sheets of paper to labels and envelopes.

Comparatively, the performance of the WorkCentre 6505 is alike the Xerox Phaser 6010. It is packed up with the features such as double side printing and the option to upgrade to auto-duplex prints. Xerox claims that their packaging and their toner-only cartridges now make up for 80 percent less waste than other devices from other manufacturers.
