Zotac Intros Dual-Core ZBOX Nano VD01 Series

Zotac released ZBOX nano VD01 series updating its ZBOX nano product lineup. This is palm-sized mini-PCs and they come packed with VIA’s dual-core Nano X2 U4025 CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz, VIA’s Chrome9 GPU with ChromotionHD 2.0 processing, and two USB 3.0 ports.

Carsten Berger, marketing director, Zotac International shared his pleasure in expanding mini-PC line up in addition of VIA platform with their new release.The VIA Nano X2 with VX900H chipset makes us to deliver an affordable energy-efficient mini-PC that is ideal for digital media consumption and home server use with the Zotac ZBOX nano VD01 series.

The new VD01 series aspects two models: The first is a bare-bones version and the second,  a “Plus” version. Both versions share same features and enough space to accommodate a 2.5-inch SATA drive and a DDR3 SO-DIMM module. However the “Plus” model actually ships with 2 GB of DDR3-1066 and a 320 GB 5400RPM HDD pre-installed. Both models possess HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, a MCE-compatible remote and integrated IR receiver, and more.
